T Congress leaders to disrupt the coming Assembly Budget session
A section of the Telangana Congress MLAs have decided to disrupt the coming Assembly Budget session scheduled to begin on February 15, while others do not want either to resign or obstruct the Assembly proceedings not to incur the wrath of the Congress Central leadership. Except for former home minister and senior Telangana Congress leader K Jana Reddy, all others, including 12 MLAs and eight MLCs, who participated in the meeting in the New MLA quarters this evening have come to a conclusion either to resign or boycott the coming session.
Talking to newsmen after a four-hour long meeting, Telangana Congress political action committee convenor B Saraiah said that all the members were unanimous not to accept the terms of reference of the Srikrishna Committee.
To register their protest, majority of them have decided to boycott the Assembly session `indefinitely’ till formation of Telangana State, while others have decided to tender resignations to their posts. However, a collective decision would be taken after talking to the remaining members (who could not attend the meeting), by Sunday evening. Besides, a letter by the party legislators would be sent to the high command for bringing in necessary changes in the committee’s terms of reference, he added.
On the other hand, former minister and senior Telangana leader R Damodar Reddy declared that four MLAs, who included C Muthyam Reddy, Narsa Reddy, Bikshapathi Goud and himself and two MLCs B Mohan Reddy and N Rajalingam have decided to submit resignations to their posts on the first day of Budget session (February 15).
“We (Telangana Congress leaders) will fight with other agitationists like the students, employees and people’s organisations to achieve separate state,’’ he asserted.
However, senior leader and MLC N Rajalingam later made it clear that he has not decided to resign, but wanted to disrupt the Assembly for the cause. He hoped that all other party MLAs and MLCs would also take similar decision on the issue. “Resignations is not a solution to the issue. Except for Jana Reddy, all others have come to an opinion that boycott of the session is the only step towards achieving the goal,’’ he observed.
Jana Reddy has left the place without talking to the media. It is learnt that he cautioned his party MLAs and MLCs against taking a hasty decision either to resign or boycott the Assembly session.
In turn, several of them have tried to corner him for his statements of becoming the Chief Minister.

Dear Telangana Brothers, This may be the conspiracy and money power of Jagan or KVP or Lagadapti or Owaisi, insted blaming others why don't we ask our 'TRAITORS' why they r not with the agitation in this crucial moment? Why they r selling themselves? Why there is no concensus in the TJAC for the future programmes? Why they r welcoming the TOR of SKC? What they r doing in their individual capacity to convince / force their respective high commands?
