Why not Bharathi Reddy? Why this discrimination?

AP High court single judge in a landmark judgment pulled ears of Andhra Pradesh government in regard to abuse of paramilitary forces in university campuses and directed the government to withdraw the central paramilitary forces from Osmania campus.  State government appealed against this order to high court division bench. However withdrawal order of single judge was upheld by the high court division bench.  After losing all appeals in AP high court, state government filed a petition against this order in the Supreme Court.

In the Supreme Court though AP has a very, very bright, talented and popular advocate Bharathi Reddy hailing from Telangana as advocate-on-records in Supreme Court, it hired services of another advocate in a rush.  Roshaiah government felt she may not act according its manipulating tactics therefore hired services of another advocate to appear on its behalf in Supreme Court. It’s ridiculous on part of the Roshaiah government to suspect its own advocate or officials from Telangana. This is another instance of discrimination against Telangana. Roshaiah govt hired services of another advocate just because current advocate-on-records is from Telangana region. If govt believes they wanted to have an advocate from another region they should make sure this is followed at every level, all IAS/IPS cadres taking these decisions at state level too should be from different states. When so many Andhra IAS/IPS officers can call the shots in Telangana regions how come government doesn’t have faith in officials hailing from Telangana?

This is a GROSS discrimination. How can government say officers from Telangana can’t be trusted but they can trust officers from Andhra/Rayalaseema regions? Oppression and discriminations like these lead to demand for separate state therefore they do not justice done to them unless separate state is created.  Governments didn’t learn any lessons from these demands and agitations instead its adding fire to fuel.
