T-Effect on Railway Budget: Many sops for Telangana.
The 2010 Indian railway budget has got so many sops for the state of Andhra Pradesh. Incidentally more than 60% of the new trains and railways lines allocated for Andhra Pradesh are located in the Telangana region.
Thanks to KCR, the massive sops given to the Telangana region are due to Telangana movement which was incidentally started by him. So much so that after the announcement of the budget some TRS legislators were seen giving sweets to KCR.
Some TRS leaders have claimed that it is because of the Telangana agitation started by KCR, that the UPA government which has been ignoring the Telangana has at last given so much importance to it.
Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader and former legislator Harish Rao said, “for the first time since the formation of Andhra Pradesh, so many new railway lines were sanctioned for the Telangana region”.
Meanwhile the Rosaiah government welcomed Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee’s budget that offered many sops to the state and gave special attention to the Telangana region.
For the first time in recent years, the state did not get a raw deal. The 2010-11 budget includes a railway wagon factory, a sports academy, 22 new railway lines and 14 new trains.
This is definitely something to cheer about.

admin please verify the validity of this news. kcr and vinod on tv9 says this budget is not in favour of telangana or ap.

Hey I see 90% of them are starting/ending AT Tirupathi, Can somebody tell me how telangana is benefited with this budget,. I am curious. I will be happy if Telangana gets more Budget. And at the same time I am afraid that central is trying to keep the Movement Calm by allotting good budget to T.

Next year oka special train vestharanta telangana vaallaki…dhani peru Sri Krishna express, okesari KCR, KODANDARAM, inka konthamandhi buffoons mariyu telanganites ni yekkistahranta. Start date for that train is Jan 1st 2011.

We should thank Telangana ppl for the agitation at last (may be for the name sake) the railway minister had announced some new lines in T region. Though there were some plans in the 70s which never materialised. We hope some good will come from this budget. However, this never means we r happy. the state govt. had allocated 25% budget only for the whole telangana and major part is going to be again to benefit seemandhra settlers in and around hyderabad. What is left for T? How long we can tolerate this discrimination?

Not sure what your back ground is, your statements shows clearly arrogance and lack of knowledge on issues. Focus on Telangana topic not on caste issues. Grow up buddy. The absurd language you are using, it looks only Kammas can talk that. What is so great of Kammas? They will not die? They live forever by sucking others blood?

@nalgonda, it is not kamma men,but kamma women are great! they are capable of doing any-thing and every thing .their men folk are a use less lot.Their women do a lot of work but the men are useless creatures simply eat and move around like dogs.Their women are so power ful thats why these kammas send their women with the files and get the' things 'done that way.It is the same kamma poor chowdary s who have no permission to enter their own home when an un identified pair of chappal are found near the out side door!!!!
