Ensure Zero Nominations for May 2010 by Elections in Telangana
The by-elections for the Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly seats, which have been laid vacant by the resignation of Telangana MP’s and MLA’s in support of their demand for a separate are due to be held on May 29, 2010. The Election Commission has announced the schedule for these by-elections and all political parties have gone into election mode and are busy with their pre poll permutations and combinations, to select the most probable winning candidate.
It’s a shame that of the 17 Lok Sabha MP’s and 119 MLA’s that we the people of Telangana elected, only 4 MP’s and 18 MLA’s had the moral turpitude to resign in support of our cry for justice. The rest have behaved like the vermin they are, having feasted on our flesh and support they have slunk away to hide in their air-conditioned burrows, when we asked for their support to press our demand for a separate state.
We the people of Telangana need to safeguard these 4 Lok Sabha and 18 Assembly seats, which have been left in our trust by the present incumbents. and not allow anyone to even file the nomination papers. We need to create a situation where the Election Commission is forced to call off the elections because no nominations were filed.
This will send three strong messages, the first to the Central Leadership that we are very serious and committed to achieving Telangana state come what may. The second message will be to our other representatives and the myriad political parties, that no matter how much they ignore our cry for justice and suppress our demand for a separate state, no matter how many crores the Seemandhra lobby pays them to scuttle the issue of Statehood, they will ultimately have to come to us for our vote. And our vote is the Sudarshan chakra, which will slay them tomorrow. And finally to our true leaders, it will act as an elixir and will energize them to carry on the battle till the day that Telangana’s boundary is drawn and they are free to come back to claim their seats, that they so rightly deserve.
Let us resolve, that come what may, no man or woman will be allowed to file nominations for any of these seats. Our message for political parties and independents desirous of filing their nominations is, “We the people of Telangana have resolved that these seats are not open for by elections, if anyone dares to file his or her nomination, they do so at their own risk and God save you.”

My Dear Telanganites, The time has come to show our unity for Telangana and to show the traiotrs' their place. Pls. don't let anybody field a cnadidate against those resigned for Telagnana. If somebody does it by using 'police' or muscle power, Pls. ensure nobody from u and ur family votes for that traitor. Jai Telangana.

Please boycott the elections in telangana., if at all the elections are going to be held it will be a huge loss for the telangana people., again every one will come with telangana agenda and if congress looses., they will keep the issue sidetracks until 2014 elections.

@Khan, by ur above writing u r abusing all the 50% of Indian voters as 'corrupt' and if we go by this, the elevation NTR was due to his heavy note bundles and the recent elevation of YSR is the same and the BJP raising from 2 MPs to 88 is due to their spending of huge sums. If I can add one morething u r actually supporting the allegations of Pakistan that Kashmir elections r fake. Come on Khan be logical when u talk such things.

kcr and vijashanthi havent resigned as mp's. kcr gives a flimsy excuse that he isnt resigning " to keep the pot boiling " and the stupid people have accepted it.
off course its too much to expect a person like kcr to have morals with or without turpitude.

its for people who have accepted kcr's stupid excuse for not resigning. kcr's resignation hasnt been accepted by the speaker.
damu muthyam and aothers resignations have also been rejected by the speaker.
why only is damu and muthyam villified.

why jac is not forcing kcr to resign. bcos jac is on the payroll of kcr. thats why congress pulled out of kcr and rdp has all but officially pulled out.

Syed, Ofcourse more than 50% of Indian voters are corrupt. 30% middle classes like you and me never vote. Ofcourse YSR has won by massive misuse of money, media and other powers. Not one scheme of YSR created any wealth in the long term except for his son and some of his cronies. Let us not kid ourselves thinking that we are most honest country.

On this I agree with you. Congress is the root cause for all the problems that the country is facing today. I am particularly happy to note that, If congress will not grant T, then they are routed in T and the most efficient CM, we ever had , Rosaiah, can bring no votes in Andhra. If congress gives T, they are routed in Andhra and kcr will win in T.
In any case, it is begining of the end for congress.

To continue, KCR is better than congress. I understand that KCR was behind many of the popular schemes like Janma Bhoomi, Prajala Vaddaku Palana of CBN. If it is really true, KCR would possibly might be better than people like Damoder Reddy.

Resigning is not new to KCR, people believe KCR words because he is better than other politicans fighting for Telangana whereas damu and muthyam cant be believed because of the stand of congress..
For formation of JAC congress has played a major role so no question arise that JAC is on KCRs payroll….

Your fight is our fight, we are not able to come up open as our political leaders here are strong and expect we will get Andhra separated.
If every one from Andhra thinks like Bosta
it will be good for both the sides but Leaders like Lagadapati,kavuri etc are making things complecated,may be because of their personal reasons but the result should be in favour of common man.
We also expect IT hub at Vijayawada and its like being at home.
It may take time but in future it will be of a great advantage for us.

I agree with the general thrust of your logic (most politicians are corrupt, most voters are short sighted). However your extrapolation (voters will always vote for money) is not correct.
People are not stupid. When both parties (e.g. YSR & Babu) are bad, they take money from both and vote for the "lesser evil". In issue based elections (e.g 1977 against emergency), they vote on the issue (they defeated Indira Gandhi even after taking money from congress)

It rarely happens. That the voters vote for issues. Like it happened in the case of Chenna Reddy.He piggybacked employees and students to become CM. In rare occassions people went out their emotions. But there must be some one to manifest this. Now we don't have any one. Tell me honestly, Do you really think any right minded Telanginite will trust KCR had it not been for T-Cause?
I have nothing against kcr. I feel he is better than congress.

people rarely vote for issues. if people were to vote for issues bjp would have retained power on temple and other issues .
they will vote for a candidate , party who they feel will safeguard their interests. ysr had a lot of populist schemes thats why people voted for congress rather than trs.
the rural voter, farmer, labourer , bpl voter is not bothered about telangana. he is worried about his daily livelihood. whoever guarantees food, work , income, home etc will get his vote.
he will not forego these for sentimental issues like self respect etc.
this is just a bogey created by selfish power hungry politicians.
that is why in the days to come they will reject frequent bandhs , strikes , boycotts etc.
