Telangana supporters heckle Naidu outside jail
Pro-Telangana activists Wednesday heckled Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu when he visited a jail here to meet TDP leaders arrested for attacking advocates who had disrupted a party meeting.
Tension prevailed outside Cherlapally jail on the outskirts of the city as activists of Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) stopped Naidu’s convoy as he came to call on TDP corporators and other leaders.
Raising slogans of “Jai Telangana”, the protesters asked Naidu to make his stand clear on the issue of Telangana. They entered into an argument with TDP activists who came to the rescue of their leader. The two groups clashed as police intervened and arrested pro-Telangana protesters.
The former chief minister met two TDP corporators and another party leader in jail. They were arrested early this month for an attack on lawyers. The TDP leaders had attacked advocates March 6 when they had disrupted Naidu’s speech at a party programme, demanding that he make his stand clear on the issue.
Few advocates were injured in the incident, which triggered massive protests by pro-Telangana lawyerss. They even prevented other lawyers from defending the TDP leaders arrested in the case.
Naidu had rejected the demand of the all-party JAC to tender an apology to the advocates, which finally led to JAC convenor M. Kodandaram expelling Telangana leaders of TDP from the apex body fighting for a separate Telangana state.

Chandra Babu's stand is clear on Telangana. By his actions one can understand that he is for "Samaikyandhra", if Telangana is formed he would like to have HYD as UT for his and his properties safe guard.
Otherwise he would have forced his seemandhra leaders to take a stand as per their repeated earlier promices.
He would have convinced or taken action on the leaders who went against their parties promised policy on Telangana.
Due to fear of loosing his image and goodwill across the state and country he is just maintaining silence and making his seemandhra leaders to play the show on his behalf.

After visiting his tegulu tummalu in the jail, babu did sonta dabba (how he improved Hyderabad blah blah). Apparently the vsit to the jail reminded him of his days in power.
An andha gossip site reported this as "Naidu feels nostalgic after visiting Cherlapally jail".
Let us hope the headlines very soon will be ""Naidu feels nostalgic after getting admitted to Cherlapally jail"

The arrested corporators and others who attacked lawyers are supporters of Teegala Krisha Reddy and Srinivas Yadav, when these idiots doesn't feel sorry about the incident, how can we expect from CBN. Atleast Kadiam sreehari had courtesy to say sorry for the incident and he was reprimanded for his statement.
We need to hang our heads in shame that we have enemies with in ourselves. Telangana talli kadupuna puttina Cheeda Purugulu unnantha varaku manaku ee daurbhagyam.
God bless these idiots with some commonsense.

Babu, all we are asking is a simple statement that your party stands by your politburo unanimous resolution on Oct-09-2008.
Excerpts from your press conference (just in case you forgot):
The party would do everything 'legally possible' to achieve separate Telangana
TDP respects the sentiments and self-respect of people of Telangana
We have taken a decision after looking into all aspects and a thorough debate

Babu garu… you and your MLA's should resign and contest again, because you have contested 2009 elections by a Manifesto, which has promised Telangana.

@EHReddy. your suggestion to CBN is going to be a tough ask, they say they are going to participate in BY ELECTIONS, if they really do that, they will get a taste of TELANGANA POURSHAM.

The best strategy to achieve Telangana state is wipe out TDP from Telangana, We don’t need two regional parties within a state, TRS is committed for Telangana state, TDP can’t tell it’s support for telangana as it hurts it's existence in Andhra, They can not claim support openly Telangana as they have close relations in Andhra/Seema. They only tell support for Telangana 2-3 weeks before elections. For the people of Telangana, we have two choices TRS the regional party for Telangana, Two national allies UPA (Congress) and NDA (BJP), We don’t have big presence of BJP in our state, its only Congress. Any how all our cong leaders bow to high command, convincing them is not a difficult task. I recommend to vote TRS, that will work with NDA/UPA to get separate state, TDP is going to be a dead party, people are realizing the fact, it takes some time for people to change their opinion.
Jai Telangana..

Dear Editor,
I saw and heard in the news that Seemandhra interests propagating United Andhra Pradesh are sending letters or post cards to Srikrishna committee.
My main concern is these guys have put up stalls in Vizag and other cities and asking the common public to sign and write United Andhra Pradesh and sending it to Srikrishna committee.
I would request you to write an article on this issue and let all telanginites know about this so that they can start the same in Telangana cities and towns for our benifit.
Thanks for your consideration…Cheers
Jai Telangana

@All, Vijay has a valid point, as of now lots of Seemandhra political leaders have submitted their letters to SKC and it has been widely publicised, but none from Telangana. What the political leaders waiting for? TRS and JAC will submit their reports soon as announced by Prof. Kodandaram but what about other T leaders? Who claim to be fighting for T, I am talking about the individuals not the parties.

Chandra Babu is a betrayer, cheater and promise-breaker of ALL TELENGANITES and TELENGANA people. All he has is that he would loose control power and loose control over his assets, properties and companies. Chandra Babu TDP and Congress are the same in cheating TELENGANA.
Congress Telangana MPs/MLAs and TDP Telangana MPs/MLAs are completely stooges and puppets of Their Andhra-Seema leaders.
Is TELANGANA a reality, unless it is inspired and resuscitated at grassroot-level of TELANGANA people ?
