Telangana Employees Association
You might not need to add our committee to the list of previous committees on Telangana, this committee is the last and final committee, this is said by the SKC to the Telangana Employees Association. The 23 member delegation from the association led by the association leaders M/s. Vitthal, Sridhar Deshpande, Padmachari, Durgabai and Pavankumar Goud met with the SKC on Wednesday at the lakeview guesthouse. The delegation presented their views on the injustices done to Telangana on the employment related issues through a power point presentation. The delegation told SKC that Telangana people have lost faith in the committees therefore; some associations having lost faith on the committees have announced their rejection and boycotting of this committee. After the presentation the committee member secretary Mr. Duggal had responded by saying this SKC will be the last committee on Telangana. Later The President of Telangana Employees Association Mr. Vitthal had briefed the media on their presentation.
The SKC questioned the delegation, why Telangana people are not getting ranks in the examinations including the Group 1. There are injustices done in every aspect life for Telangana people and that including the employment, the TEA replied. Telangana students couldn’t compete with Seemandhra students as the people of Telangana are economically weak and educational facilities and opportunities are far less therefore, the students are unable to get expected ranks in competitive exams. Even if some of Telanganaites go for interviews Seemandhraites are discriminating them by giving the opportunities to their own people and neglecting Telanganaites. One can understand the situation if he knows the status of state govt. employees Vs opportunities given to Telangana people. The details of the presentation are as follows:
- Total State Govt. Employees : 12,89,635
- Employees working against the norms in Telangana: 2,50,000
- Total employees in Hyderabad : 1,10,724
- Out of the above Telangana employees: 11,000
- Total Gazetted Officers in the state : 57,899
- Telangana employees out of the above are : 6,950
- Total Non Gazetted employees / Officers in Telangana : 4,98,359
- Against the norms working from the above in Telangana are : 1,99,343
- Total Non Gazetted employees / Officers in Seemandhra : 6,80,522
- Telanganaites working against the norms working from the above in Seemandhra are : LESS THAN 1%
- From the total IAS officers working in the state, Seemandhras are 52, and Telanganaites are only 5. The same is for IPS officers; there are 31 IPS officers from Seemandhra and only 7 from Telangana.
- From the state cadre there are 78 IAS from Seemandhra and only 9 from Telangana. There are 45 IPS from Seemandhra and only seven are from Telangana.
- In the State Secretariat there are total 508 Section Officers and Telanganaites are only 101.
- There is no Additional Secretary from Telangana from the total of 13 and all from Seemandhra.
- Deputy Secretaries: 43 are from Seemandhra and 13 from Telangana.
- Assistant Secretaries: 150 from Seemandhra and 38 from Telangana.
Since the bureaucracy is full of Non Telangana employees the region had subjected to utter discrimination and no issues related to the injustices ever solved, plenty of cases are pending in the courts and with the employees’ tribunals, the delegation informed the SKC.
Do you accept the ‘Safeguards’: The SKC had asked the delegation, are they ready to accept any ‘constitutional Safeguards’ in the employment for Telanganaites? We don’t need any safeguard we just need our separate state Telangana the delegation responded. Do you believe if Telangana State is formed the people will get employment? The SKC questioned. When the state comes in to existence the discrimination will be over and we will develop the state hence paving ways to create new jobs and provide employment to the youth the Telangana Employees Association replied.

Chairman of the public Service commission is a state govt. appointee and in the history of A.P.P.S.C. except on one or two occasions all of them belonged to Seema Andhra. How can one expect Telanganites to be selected over Andhraites in such a situation SeemaAndhraites have vast lobbying power and money power as was demonstrated recently in stalling the creation of Telangana after being announced by the central govt.Take a headcount today you will find a large number of Group-I Service officers belonging to Seemaandhra working in Telangana areas and on the contrary a few officers belonging to Telangana would be found working in Seemaandhra areas.Till recently there was not even a single I.A.S. officer from Telangana posted as COLLECTOR. Very recently last month in order to show to the Srikrishna committee a lady collector belonging to Telangana was posted.ANY ANSWER TO THESE POINTS FROM SAMAKYAVADIS PLEASE.

@narender singh
good question.
i think you should ask this question first to all CM's and Ministers from telangana region , how they selected class 1 officers during their tenure.
if T cm's and ministers dont select T ppl how do u expect SA cm's and ministers to do so.
i personally think merit should be the criteria for selection rather than any regional bias.

Thanks to the leaders. You have presented in an excellent way. We can say and shout any number of times that there is no alternative except demerger of the state.

@DF, the appointment by any govt. should be equal and covering all the regions, as per the constitution of India the state govt. is for the whole state not for a particular region from where the CM or minister belongs to, pls. keep this in mind. The appointments and recruitments will and shall have to cover the whole state not just from a particular region. The same is the developmental work. Yes, in the short time where the guys of T became CMs should have done some partiality and should have appointed all the T ppl everywhere but most of the bigger positions does need cabinet approval which they would have never got and may be for a particular appointment the CM could have faced the ire of SA MLAs like in the case of PVNR who had to resign as CM.
Not personally it suppose to be ONLY MERIT but do you think there was no capable person in T? Do you believe the appointments made from SA are (all of them) better than Ts?

Well i dont think there is a discrimination against telnagana people in jobs(i support telangana for a different cause not for this).
If there were andhra -telangana discrimination, i dont expect Dr C Narayana reddy garu to be recommended by AP govt for gnyana peetha award.
Also i dont think PV narasimha rao would have won his MP seat from Nandyala(Kurnool dist) with world record 5 lakhs majority and NTR did not put opposition also!
ALso several top key ministries going to T people always.
One may observe that 60% buerocrats in india are from north and similarly around 75% of soldiers are from north. I dont think this is discrimination. Its purely the attitude of the people and merit.

@sandeep …from where did you gets the stats buddy 75% of soldiers are from north. it hilarious to see your comments. do not give couple of instances to say that there was no discrimination to telangana.
Problem to be more precise is if we see
1.caste based politics
2. caste based favours in jobs , contracts and business.
3. region based favours
till the time this goes on we can not progress.

"i support telangana for a different cause not for this)"
What is the cause you support telangana?
60% bureaucrats are from North. How much is the population of North India?
75% soldiers are from North because we Southerners do not have Army as the first option.
PV narasimha rao completed full term as Prime Minister of India but not Chief Minister AP.

Few of the guys here (on this site) make an entry into this site under the guise of telangana proponents and soft-pedalling on telangana and slowly softening the stand of United AP proponents and slowly drag into the dirty discussions on baseless grounds and let loose the pullers and attempt to dilute few issues in the name of analysis and healthy discussions. NOT get into those useless discussions.
No stones left unturned.

My support is for smaller states. not out of discrimination as it's proved scientifcally that there was no discrimination at all!!
reg population, good question!. recent survey's shows more than 50% engineers in india come from south. is south population at;east 50% of india?
@others

@syed
only for CS and PS posts cabinet approval is necessary. other postings are routine.
T ministers in the cabinet can ask for an officer of their choice for posting in the depts under them.
however mostly ministers look for loyal collection agents and those who will do as per their instructions and turn a blind eye to misdeeds.
i never said there is no meritorious officer from T. unfortunaterly merit is not the only criteria for appointment.
i still say merit rather than regional feelings should be the way.
a meritorious officer irrespective of his origin is expected to do his job well irrespective of his posting.
if a t officer is posted in SA isnt he expected to do good work.similiarily a SA officer wherever he is posted has to do good work.
also remember class 1 officers are posted anywhere in india and officers from other states are posted in ap.

Right now we want our Telangana state.
Is Andhra going to be Seema and Andhra that is upto the center to decide. They should call for SKC committe-II and investigate and do consultations. We don't really care. They want to be united let it.
We all know they can't cheat each other the way they cheat Telangana people. Two cunning foxes can never be good friends to each other.

I strongly believe that SeemAndhra wants to buy lands in Telangana at very low prices as there is no water. Then once they get hold on land they will provide water to these lands. Slowly they can occupy land make our Telangana people work for them as slaves.
Telangana people will become like American Indians in few years under AP.
For example: How are they able to provide water to Andhra settlers in Hyderabad. This is their big plan but KCR has spoiled all their plans.
