Telangana outscores Seemandhra in SSC
Students from the Telangana region performed better than their counterparts in Rayalaseema and Coastal regions in this year’s SSC exams the results of which were announced here on Sunday.
Out of the 10 best performing districts in the State, six are from the Telangana region with Nizamabad leading from the front with 92.65 pass percentage. Karimnagar and
Nalgonda districts stood in second and third positions respectively. But the state capital, Hyderabad, recorded the lowest pass percentage of 71.79 in the State.
And as usual, girls out performed boys by 1.14 per cent. According to officials of the SSC board, the total pass percentage was 81.63 per cent in respect of regular candidates. ‘‘There is an increase of 1.80 per cent when compared to 2009,’’ Director of Government Examinations Pronoti Suhasini Kavoori said. But, there is a 1.75 per cent dip in the pass percentage of private candidates.

It is really a SURPRISE for me after the repeated warnings from TJACs and TRS the result of Intermediate and SSC had been a sort of 'flying hihg' in T districts. Nizamabad is the topper which was one of the backward districts and never in TOP 5 districts as far as the results are concerned.
Is it a miracle of the warnings to the state govt. or in the heat of Telangana agitation the students have studies that well so they have beaten the SAs domination of decades? The questions needs to be answered.

Actually its a slap on the face of Seema Andhrites who were ridiculing the Telanganites during the Telangana Movement recently for being poor in studies. You can see such comments on Andhranews.com.

@Suresh, I think this proves there is discrimination for decades and this time, the discriminator knew that he will have to face the heat of Ts as the TJACs have repeatedly warned of such things, those checking the answer sheets have given the marks honestly to the students unlike in the past.

Seema-Andhra peole says Telangana people could not compete thats why there are so few Telanganites in beaurocracy. The SSC results proves that Telangana people are competitive and are no less then Seema-Andhra applicants; only thing they lack is recommendations and big money to pay bribes.
Only in Telangana state Telangana people can show their true potential.

Not only this year, if you see every year SSC results, always Telangana district students are on top. The pain thing is, after SSC, there is a drastic dropouts, because of poorness, unable to pay the feeses and other issues. If government provides facilities, telangana students will do wonders.

thats exactly what this seemandhra govt doesnt want to do.if they give all the support then telangana students out shine then where do u think all these mediocre seemandhras,with their poor knowledge will go to make a living ? telanganites can go to dubai,bombai,or boggubai and still manage to make a living. so thats it and these seemandhras dont want to leave telangana which is golden goose for them are unwilling to part from it !!!!!!!!
