BJP to rope in Sushma Swaraj for Telangana by-polls
To boost its chances in next month’s bypoll in Telangana region, Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh today decided to rope in Opposition Leader in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and other senior leaders for campaigning.
Besides Swaraj, her deputy in the Lok Sabha Gopinath Munde and incharge of BJP affairs in AP Prakash Javdekar are among the senior leaders who would take part in the campaigning, state BJP general secretary N Ramachander Rao said.
BJP is contesting only in Nizamabad assembly constituency among the 10 seats going for bypolls on July 27. Lakshminarayana would face state Congress president D Srinivas who announced that he will contest the bypoll from Nizamabad.
State BJP president G Kishan Reddy held a meeting with several state party leaders including former Union Minister B Dattatreya and others on the preparations for the bypolls today, Rao said.
The party has also appointed 3 panels – campaign committee, election management committee and coordination committee — for the bypolls, he said.
BJP has decided to support the Joint Action Committee (JAC)-backed TRS candidates in the 9 other seats.

Sushmaji, You have Swaraj in your name itself as you got Mr. Swaraj for you, we are fighting for our swaraj, we do respect your positiveness towards T, but would worship if your party could more than lip service for T. Hope you will understand the sentiments of the people here and do your actual role of a opposition leader in LS for Telangana.

She should concentrate on her party first, its slowly vanishing away from Indian political scenario.
She can worry about Telangana later. Though she worries I dont see a point as long as majority of people in AP are not worried about separate Telangana.
She was given enough fund by Gali(YSJ) in the recent Karnataka elections, so I don't know how sincere she would be for Telangana.

TRS supporting BJP will piss of the Congress high command, and whatever little amount of goodwill has been created towards creation of Telangana will be wiped off.

One of the major National Political Party has taken its stand for Telangana. It is definitely added advantage for our cause. But we are having responsibility to elect with huge margin in Nizamabad Urban.

It does not benefit BJP if TRS wins all or none of by-elections. BJP will give the state only if it sees a chance of BJP emerging as 2nd force in the state. Cong will always be there in T and with TDP becoming irrelevant, BJP can hope anything only if TRS is made irrelevant. You have to decide if TRS with 10 MLAs and 2MPs will get you anywhere or if it is a national party with consistent stand that not only gives you state but also favorable allocation from planning expenditure.

We need every national political party to support Telangana State. This in turn would put pressure on Congress party. In politics things change fast. Now TRS might have 10 MLAs but next time they might win all in Telangana. This can happen if there is no Telangana state during next election. Imagine TRS has 15 MPs.
These by-elections are also important for TRS and Telangana.

What are they going to get if u want to elect TRS MLAs and MPs?? U need parliament approval for a state to be created. Even if Congress gives support, it will fail unless BJP supports it. This and next election, they will make it pretty clear… elect BJP and BJP and Cong will give T. BJP is looking for foothold in T and they will NOT work with TRS. If BJP and MIM do NOT cooperate, u can forget T. Onus is on T voters to think pragmatic and vote accordingly. No regional party outside AP will support T state in Parliament and it is up to national parties to push for it.

Before 1766 , if you look at the map of Nizam kingdom which is called as Telangana, it represents entire AP. Only when he gave away the coastal districts to british
and later 'ceded" cuddapah area to french(and later british), the new terminologies came. Before that we all telugu people were called as Telangana people.
Present day coastal andhra was called coastal Telangana.

Thats what we thought that all telugu ppl are same and desired merger with seemandhra.But you fellows never treated us as one and did a tremendous dhoka/gaddari/vishwas ghat and diverted funds/water/industries(a number of industries that were to be opened in telangana belt were hijacked by some cunning Ba*****ds and were established else where)and were directly responsible for the present impasse even then we waited patiently for six decades.So you want to teacht or cheat history saley ? What you said are all allegations. I think u know how courts work. They are not yet proved. In 1969 also some people said such things. Bhargava committe clarified everything. No diversion of funds. You people are being cheated by these pseudo intellectuals.
If SKC report clarifies that no injustice happened then how embarassing it will be for you!!!!
Can you show your face to your friends, family and relatives. SO lets wait for the report and accept the judge's decision.
Till then lets keep quite and do independent investigation on TRS and samaikyandhra claims. Lets hunt for real truths.

No big investigation will be required,just diarise the events beginning from 30.11.09, that is from KCR's fast to SKC s report submission ,what all your enlightened fellows did and what all is happening in telangana/TRS and also allot a special page for recording how cunning Telangana congress/ tdp fellows are ? at the end u can arrive at the result, if u r honest.Right bro ?
