Around 1,000 youth from the north Telangana districts are stranded in Bahrain and unable to return to India. Family members of the victims are worrying about their safety, and have been pleading with people’s representatives in their native villages and mandals to help them.
Youth from Nizamabad, Karimnagar, and Hyderabad city went to Bahrain in 2007-08 in search of livelihood. They worked in Abdula Nasa (LCD) Company there for the last two years. Allegedly, the company failed to pay wages as per the the agreement. Vexed with the attitude of company management, the youth switched over to other works in Bahrain.
Presently, a few of them have decided to return to India, but the management of the company is allegedly refusing to return their documents.
The company management states that the youth from India failed to abide by the agreement of work with Abdulla Nasa (LCD) company and the breach of agreement has resulted the payment of penalty. If the workers pay 600 dinars as penalty, the company will return their passports and visas, officials told Indian workers.
The youth had been facing hardships to return to India and they have been falling short of food and accommodation for the last three months. They had visited the Indian embassy in Bahrain several times to ask for official assistance.
Unfortunately, embassy authorities were neglecting the issue.
Dichpally zilla parishad territorial constituency member Dinesh Kumar Kulachari approached district collector D. Vara Prasad here on Monday along with family members of some stranded youth to seek help.
“The collector responded positively and assured of efforts for the safe return of the youth,” Mr Dinesh Kumar said.

Matter needs to be tackled at government to government level, and the right persons who will be of help will be the MP s concerned.MPs can approach foreign ministry to get all the workers back.

We need our representatives (MLAs and MPs) to put pressure on the center govt to solve this issue. Congress in in power at center and state. They can do this if they wake up and do something good for the people.
Once we have our state back our youth don’t have to face these problems. Our
Youth can stay back and do agriculture or do other jobs in state govt or in Hyderabad.
We will have our state back very soon and all the problems of our youth will be solved. We will be the most prosperous state in India. We can have all the resources used for our people.

@Telanganaforever
Why dont u ask TRS to do something about it? U guys are NOT prepared to trust Cong, why should they help? TRS, with hunger strikes and threats, can get T state from Home ministry. Why not use these tactics for public good, when the need arises?

Krishna you are right.
Infact Kavita recently went to Middle east. Even Kodandaram and others frequently go there and “spend some time” in the name of educating our Telangana people there.
Never TRS fights on issues. Poor people on this website sing songs and write poetry on KCR and Telangana and dance before their computers.
I think congress and TDP are much better at addressing the daily problems of telanganites.

The primary responsibility of the citizen lies with the govt. not with a political party. Yes, every single political party and any other organisation that including the human rights groups also responsible for rising and agitating if required for the justice for the oppressed. The issue here is the involvement of other country means the responsibility is with the MoEA and the PM etc. not the state subject (in terms of any action or requests), the state govt. or any politcial party could do nothing except requesting the centre and doing some arrangement / facilitating once these guys return home.
If TRS or KCR not voiced yet on this issue definitely it is not acceptable as it is indeed his and his party’s responsibility to do so.
Fro God sake don’t politicize the issue of sufferings, we are not politicians to do politics even on the dead bodies.

Syed..
What u say is correct regarding the responsibility. However, KCR and TRS will only take up issues which provoke divisions among people. If there is ANY way a news item can be skewed to show discrimination of T, KCR will be there, shouting in vulgar language. But this is human issue where NO politics is involved. So, KCR does NOT care about their due justice.

KCR is worried about the injustice to 3.5 crore ppl and in comparison what is 1000 ppl stranded in Bahrain or any other Rain. Those are our telangana ppl and know how to bear with injustices , and none of you need worry. His first goal is to set the above 3.5 crores free from the clutches of seemandhras. So think before you yell something from u r rear mouth. What then the AP govt doing, and why TRS do something about ? dont you remember last year one rayalaseema guy killed one keralite in saudi arabia and was in prison for that and our cunning YSR jumped to action and got some compendation to that kerala ppl from govt money and got released this bloody murderer rayala seema chor. what justice is this ????????
