BJP and TRS urge Election Commission to take action against DS
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday urged the Election Commission (EC) to take a serious view of the controversial statements made by APCC chief D Srinivas since the issue of election notification to the byelections.
BJP MP M Venkaiah Naidu wanted the EC to take a similar view of the statements made by Srinivas as was done in the case of TRS MP Vijayashanti and Sangareddy Congress MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy. He wanted the EC to act firmly against Srinivas as he got away even after making controversial statements without attracting the EC’s attention, earlier too. He urged the EC to declare Nizamabad Urban as a sensitive area and appoint additional officers to oversee polling in the constituency.
Meanwhile, Telangana Jagruti president K Kavita submitted a memorandum to the EC demanding action against APCC chief D Srinivas for making controversial and objectionable statements over the past ten days to lure voters. She urged the EC to reject Srinivas’ application as he has been luring voters in the name of cast, false assurances and invoking the name of the Srikrishna Committee.
Meanwhile, former BJP chief Bandaru Dattatreya urged the voters of Nizamabad Urban to once again endorse the candidature of their party nominee E Lakshmi Narayana and teach the APCC chief a lesson that nothing was more important than Telangana. “I request the voters of Nizamabad Urban constituency to defeat Congress president D Srinivas and send a strong message to the AICC president about their strong resolve to achieve Telangana state,” he said at a media conference.

I think EC will not act upon the comments and gestures of DS as was seen in the last elections. We can’t expect EC is that much impartial in Congress administration.
But the entire nation is observing TG by-elections particularly Nizamabad. So I request NZB friends to treat a lesson to DS so that he will not go for elections in his life time.

YES- D.S. should be defeated by Telanganites for the cause of telangana. If by miracle he manages to win he will tell madam Gandhi that even without conceding telangana congress has bright chances and there are already cunning Seemaandhraites calmly waiting to open their mouths in such a situation.Even chandrababu naidu cleverly changed the T.D.P. candidate and fielded a weak candidate from Hindu community to divide the votes and help consolidate minority vote bank, so that D.S. can sail through. But my dear telangana brothers more so my minority brothers -this is where we should become more CHATUR -( NEHLE PE DEHLA) and teach this cunning D.S. a lesson he should not forget in his life time.

DS will be defeated very badly in nizamabad.he will hide his face for the coming six months and by 2011 telangana is formed and this DS will not be any thing in congress. He will then contest as a corporator in nizamabad municipality of some ZPTC/ MPTC.

then better DS contests from seemandhra and become CM,bcz even if he contest and win from telangana and become a CM he will be forced to work only for seemandhra, again becz 95% employees and 2/3 legislators are all from seemandhra !!

Biggest lie.
53% of government employees are from Telangana.
20% of state revenue comes from Telangana.
80% of state’s revenue is spent in Telangana.
Telangana is a drain on AP economy.
Better to create Telangana with karim nagar as capital
a telanganite

80 % of APs revenues spent in telangana for the benefit of only Seemandhra and the remaining 20% spent in seemandhra. so nothing is spent for telanganas benefit.Telangana is the brain behind the APs economy.
what is there in seemandhra except a little bit of rice cultivationm and few fish ponds .fish die frequently and seemandhras die with every cyclone.so it is happy for them in telangana with telanganas funds .enjoying no ??

Why to argue without any logic or reason. Facts themselves speak. If telangana is of no consequence then why these seemaandhraites vehemently opposed already created telangana. Nowhere in the world you will find this type of opposition, which made one of the foreign journalist to plainly conclude that this opposition from Seemaandhraites stems from insecurity on their part to sustain themselves without the loot and unethical gains derived by them from telangana region for decades.
