What’s going on in Sonia Gandhi’s mind?

Exit poll surveys indicate that TRS is up for a clean sweep and BJP would win the Nizamabad seat. Lagadapati had also come up with the same results. Infact, he claimed that he had done the survey two months back itself and that he had taken the results to Sonia Gandhi’s attention. Then why did the congress party field its candidates in the by-polls?
Analysts say that though Sonia knew that the by-polls would cause shame and ignominy to her party, she still went ahead because she has some plans with it.
The results would make it clear to the Seemandhra politicians that Congress would have to take a call and declare Telangana otherwise, it would be uprooted from the region. And by declaring Telangana, they can gain the lost pride.
Another advantage is that TDP would be erased from Telangana which would be a very positive sign for them. Infact, they knew that TDP would contest if they are in the by-poll run. Later, Congress can regain the pride by declaring Telangana unlike TDP which can do nothing about it.
Congress is aware that its only a few politicians and investors who are opposing Telangana Statehood and threatning them with mass resignations. Now, the party has a chance to convince them that they have no other choice but to declare Telangana.

TDP is wiped out from Telangana. Now CBN is desperate. He might take another trip to Maharastra or plan new trip to Karnataka state.
Congress is doing Math here. Get all 17 MP seats in Telangana and majority seats in Seemandhra for next elections. They can have CM in two states. TDP is now weak. CBN two eye theory is not working.

Guys,
What ever the above is predictable but I don’t believe these SA idiots.
Sonia and is Congress high command well known about T movment.Chidabaram statement line sare proof for that.
But their sketch is different one I don’t guess these SA ldrs will bend that much easily.
Even im not understanding Lagadapti y he accepted the T movement after these many clashes.
we have to dig more from congress end, as per my guess congress high command looking at hyd ,if they make hyd as common capital r union territory these SA ppl wont say any thing.
Any way TDP is out of region that’s true.
what ever it may b we want our T along with our capital.
JAI TELANGANA

@D, the SKC is doing their job and will come up with something which they feel is balanced, however, it is up to the central govt. to take it or leave SKC recommendation therefore, don’t break your head for SKC.
@Prakash@Telangana,
Man you have a point but given the situation congress won’t dare to do that. However, if and only if at all that proposal comes (Hyd as a common capital) I think we should follow the footsteps of Maharashtrians who got rid of Gujarat from Bombay and block the roads to Hyd. everything will come tuned.

I don’t agree that Sonia fielded candidates in these by-elections just to send a message to Seemandhra politicians. The by-elections were never going to be used by Sonia to measure the Telangana sentiment. If anything, she fielded candidates with the hope that if Congress wins at least one seat it could be used as an easy excuse NOT to grant statehood to Telangana.
We Telanganaites should not get complacent with the results of the by-elections. The acid test will be SKC’s report on December 31st. SKC is continuing to tour various T districts. We should keep the momentum up all the way until the statehood is achieved.
