Another youth dies. No Independence for Telangana?
Yet another youth has committed Suicide for the cause of Telangana in Rangareddy district.
Kavali Praveen Kumar hanged himself to death in his house at Siripuram village in Marpally mandal yesterday. In a suicide note found in his shirt pocket, it was stated that he was ending his life for separate Telangana.
“Though the country achieved Independence long time ago, people in Telangana are still deprived of it. Only a separate state can bestow independence to Telanganites”, the letter stated. According to the family of the deceased, Kumar discontinued his studies in Intermediate due to financial problems.
The body was shifted to the government hospital at Vikarabad for autopsy. Hundreds of Telangana activists visited the hospital and paid tribute to the deceased. Mild tension prevailed when Congress MLA from Vikarabad, Prasad Kumar, visited the hospital to pay his tribute.
ProTelangana activists and students raised slogans against the MLA for going back on resigning from his post and fighting for separate Telangana. Praveen Kumar’s last rites were performed in his native place amid tight police security.

RIP Praveen Kumar !
But you forgot one important thing. With your sacrifice we can only achieve statehood. But if you were alive, together we would achieve not just statehood but also development and prosperity of Telangana.

I am deeply sadened to read this news.
My brethren, let’s make a concerted effort to stop this self-sacrifice.
Understand this, with every passing life we are losing a strong and precious brick needed for laying the foundation and building our great telangana. Let’s not be frightened or disheartened come what may because JOY LIES IN THE FIGHT NOT IN THE VICTORY. Be strong to fight for our very land and rights and let’s all commit to hold the ground until we realise our dream and no giving up in any form.
