Is Nagam planning to bid adieu to TDP?
According to sources, Nagam Janardhan Reddy is all set to exit from Telugu Desam Party. They have reasons to explain this.
Nagam has recently commented in a press meet that even TDP is responsible for the backwardness of Telangana. This has irked Naidu a lot. On another occasion, Nagam expressed that he would treat November 1, Andhra Pradesh Formation Day, as the “most unfortunate day”. This has furthur added fuel to fire. Upset with his remarks, Mr Naidu is learnt to have asked party leaders not to join Dr Reddy in his press conferences.
Things have not been well between them ever since the Telangana movement started. Nagam has formed a Telangana forum within the party, much to the displeasure of Mr Naidu.
Nagam also seeems to have felt that Naidu, who had described him as the TDP No. 2 just six months back, is now not giving any importance him. The return of Mr Devender Goud has also changed the equations within the party. Mr Goud has gradually increased his clout with Mr Naidu and often seen with him of late. Mr Naidu is consulting Mr Goud more on the T issue, rather than Mr Reddy.
“Mr Naidu is not willing to discuss T-issues with Dr Reddy, instead he is taking help of Mr Goud and Mr E. Dayakar Rao,” said a TD senior. “Mr Reddy is fighting a lone battle in the party.”
A case in point was the Babli issue, which Mr Naidu discussed with Mr Dayakar Rao and Mr Goud and not Mr Reddy.
“Dr Reddy now decided to go for Telangana at full speed and not to follow Mr Naidu’s directions. Mr Naidu is moving cautiously in view of the party’s interests in coastal and Rayalaseema districts,” said another leader who is close to Dr Reddy.
With both leaders not willing to budge, party circles are expecting a showdown and even the exit of Dr reddy soon.

This could be a scheming underlying Master plan of TDP for regaining lost glory. These TDP leaders, have no shame for changing clothes in public.
Take the case of Devender Goud, first was a Congress minister, then a TDP, then quit to form his own T party, then back in the TDP again.
TDP ke din T mein khatam hogaye!!
DO NOT support TDP in Telangana!!!!!!!!

Guys, please hold on your horses. How many of us put Jai Telangana in our wedding cards, He did. He sincerely fought for t-sstate in 1969, He lost one academic year in his MBBS.
We spoke to Nagam on many occasions, even on the day students beat him. He is sad because studdents did not understand him, not because of the wounds.
He is some what sincere in his effort than other TDP leaders. Other TDP leaders bark like dogs when they see the mic, then they dont do anything. He formed a forum, he fought for it. If he comes out, its game over for TDP.

I have been parying for years that Nagaram come out of TDP.He and me worship same God – Uma maheswars swamy. Nagam always makes it apoint to visit this temple before and after elections. He does not go to his home stright after elections but to our village and this temple.
If Telangana movement has to further gain mass MBNR and Nalgonda have to acquire as much stream as other dts alrwady have. These two dts are not able to catch up because of absence of leader. I wish and pray that he joins TRS…then it is going to be great push for Telangan movement.
As telangna movement is “Dharma Yuddam”,Lord Umamaheswra should answer my prayers.

Why it took many years for him to decide on telangana? If he lost one academic year in 1969. What he was doing when he was health minister, Devender Goud was Home and CBN CM, who are responsible for backwardness of telangana? Now telangana state is sure and he decided to join in this moment to keep his political life secure and open.
Now someone wants KCR should welcome him into TRS party with giving a big role. Let him start his own T-party and prove himself his genuineness.

Initially, before I used to see Nagam in CBN’s Bondage Team. But looks like, he learnt lesson after Osmania incident.
Of late, he is found to be Sincere in his statements. But long way to go prove his sincerity towards T cause.
But if he wants to break from the Bondage of the Andhra Party-TDP, I welcome him. Undoubtedly, thats boosts T movements to the height of it.
Though, TDP getting vanished in T region is obvious, I am not very sure if it can win in SA region too thanks CBN’s rendu kalla policy.
Good moments for T movement..

dear @Jai Telangana,
we need to put our thinking hats on. We need to concentrate on how to win this war. This war is not played on the roads. This war is played on the minds. Just imagine the effect this would have on TDP cadre. The day TDP is dead in telangana, the day telangana will be formed. They will never give a letter to sri krishna committee which will solve the problem.

@Bharath Anna, We are not a politicians and separate state is not a war, it’s a demand for ignoring this region in United AP since it was merged, this was accepted by recent surviy by central govt. 9 out 10 districts are backward. We know why it was backward.
Nagam said, KCR was watching movie in Mumbai in 1969 when Nagam and others are in jail. This guy came out of jail and became very big politician, his own district was biggest backward district in AP. What a shame to know.
I thought we are almost close to see our state after recent by-elections. But today its pulling back by these ugly politicians. why should we are take part in this.
Politicians want war, but who will die? if SKC comes with something which is not in favor of telangana state.
We should not worry that KCR should welcome him in TRS or Kodandaram should request them to come back in T-JAC. It’s already done. These leaders has big expectations and they are not for us. TDP is dead after by-elections.

Now that TDP is wiped out from Telangana lets discuss its status in
Seemandhra.
Once Telangana state is formed all bets are off. In other words all parties
have to start fresh. All this time Seemandhra is just worried about who
can keep Telangana with them to loot its resources.
Remember in Seemandhra caste politics are important. TDP is controlled by caste who are not in great numbers but they have lots of money. They are going to run out of this money if they start to put into politics. Remember there is no Telangana or Hyderabad to make more money.
PRP and Congress will be controlled by Kapu in Andhra and Reddy in Seema.
There is third front that will come into politics. Mala caste can also become
powerful. They are in greater numbers. They have money and government support too. They will join Congress too.
So TDP will be wiped out from both Telangana and Seemandhra. This is what Congress wants.
Congress will win in both Seemandhra and Telangana after formation of Telangana state.

We should cry for our family, don’t worry about others.
Once telangana is formed we all should make sure that our leaders are gunuine and they work for state development. at the same time we should also change our attitude and give our support. We can see the change only when we are changed.
Your caste theory is not usefull in present days. Now power is with congress party and what great about them? yes, TDP should wiped out, do we need congress?

Our main goal is Telangana State. How can we get our state with no loss of life. We have to look into politics how they playout.
We have get our Telangana without need for Civil war. These are political calculation I feel are good for Telangana State.
Once Telangana state is formed we all know how to take care of our people.

If Telangana state is formed with the help of congress yes Telangana people are going elect them for atleast one term. It is up to us to keep them in check after Telangana state is formed. There will be KCR and TRS in opposition for sometime. They will try to win elections and come to power too.
There is something going on now with KCR and congress. Why KCR is after TDP? We all know TDP was main party that opposed Telangana state formation after Dec,09. Right now I want Telangana state. After formation I would like to see young people enter into politics. We need new generation of Telangana political leaders.

As I know KCR will not merge his party in Congress and he should not do that.
KCR is playing his political game here. like he always does. sometime he is successful and sometime not.
1- He want to wipe TDP because their t-leaders are useless and it is proved by D.Goud.
2- He cannot wipe congress but he can be strong opposition to congress telangana selfish leaders.
Maybe my guess is right. There is always something going with KCR and some left from his party and they are nowhere.

@Jai Telangana,
we agree with you for most part. Just that, we need to wipe out TDP, for that we have need 2 big heads of TDP to come out who were there with that party from the beginning. In mahabub nagar, the bandh was full success. People came on to the roads voluntarily and participated in it. This sent a message to Nagam. He is again went back into his shell today, as naidu playing on his mind. In a situation like this, we need to talk to them, coz at this time of their political career, they have nothing to loose.

Aug 17, 2010 @ 23:54:17
@Bharath Anna,
It’s time for them to come out on their own and participate on their own way. We don’t want a leader who comes out but do same irritating comments on each others at this time, and we believe them.
Talk to them through stones not phone.

The solution is simple.
Make two states, Andhra Pradesh and TElangana.
1. Hyderabad will be the capital of Telangana
2.Andhra will get a new capital with the money raised out of revenue of Hyderabad.
3. Revenue of Hyderabad is shared between Andhra and Telangana in 50:50 basis till 50 years.
4. Water projects will be handled by a nodal agency under central government
5.Hyderabad security will be taken care of by army or central forces
That is the only way for this problem.

No doubt NAGAM is Telanganawadi. Importantantly, the trio (Nagam, Dayakar & Srihari) should comeout from TDP in protest for T statehood. More importantly, we Telanganas knowingly once again should NOT support Andhras dominated parties (TDP & PRP), these perople work for only Andhras intersts in Telangana.
Andhras, by attitude they are very dominating and cheating nature, and certainly Telanganas can be easily cheated.

Guys Don’t even try to trust these TDP fellows even Devender Goud also did the same thing. Again he is back after stabbing PRP. These are the game plans of CBN he is a cunning fox. He do all the gimmicks to stab us. They spread news like that they dont come out. I remember Dayakar rao statement before elections that he won because of telangana sentiment after that he said I won because of TDP and CBN.
They all are alike and they should get the treatment which Nagam got in Osmania.

I can’t believe someone as pro telangana person who categorically says ‘even after the formation of Telangana our leader will be CBN’. There may be parties having influence / voters / cadres in more than one state. But the SA and T is different, as SAs are still looking for benefits from T for the natural resources and in so many other ways. If someone loyal to a SA leader can never be loyal to the state of Telangana.

I am surprised to see some positive statements supporting Nagam in this forum. Dont we agree that TDP played a major role in reversing the Dec 9th statement. And what did Mr. Nagam and co did during that time ? Why didn’t he resign like the other TDP MLA chennamaneni Ramesh to protest against Chandrababu ?
In my opinion the major villains for telangana are our own TDP leaders from Telangana and among them the first would be Nagam and Devendar goud.
If people have to do successfull bandhs and commit suicides to proove Nagam the telangana sentiment, its a shame for his leadership. I think its a wrong statement to say the future of the MBNR and NLG rests on the shoulders of Nagam. It hardly has any value if Nagam says Jai Telangana over the phone. He has to show it in his actions.
