OUJAC calls for Telangana shutdown on Sunday.
Osmania University students’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) has called for Telangana shutdown Sunday to protest the government’s decision not to postpone Group-I preliminary examination of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
The JAC, at the spearhead of the renewed separate Telangana movement, at its meeting here Thursday also called for boycott of classes across the region Sep 4. It appealed to students to boycott the examination and also threatened to disrupt these.
The examination is scheduled to be held Sep 5 and the APPSC has already rejected the JAC demand to postpone it till the Telangana region’s share was decided.
The students’ organizations and pro-Telangana parties have said that injustice was being done to Telangana by setting aside the majority of Group I posts to candidates from other regions of the state.
JAC leaders have alleged that since separate Telangana state was to become a reality soon, a conspiracy was hatched to deprive Telangana candidates of the Group I postings.
Following the JAC threat to disrupt the examination, the APPSC board said prohibitory orders banning assembly of five or more people would be imposed within the one-km radius area around the examination centers.

Why cant our congress/tdp drohulu do something about it.It is a determined attempt of seemandhras rascals to fill gr 1 with all andhras before telangana is carved out so that our youth will stand to loose even after formation of sep state.

Telangana Congress MLA’s, MP’s and Ministers will be fully responsible for any voilence and loss of lives as they are not able to influence Seemandhra Govt to stop the exams.
Telangana Congress leaders are not even able to get the cases removed on our Students.
Telangana Congress Leaders are useless and spineless waste fellows. They should resign immediately since Rosiah is going head with the exam with police force. They cannot be trusted until they resign to bring down the Rosiah govt.
Time as come to kick the butts of Telangana TDP and Congress leaders.
