Hereafter bandhs should be called only in the Capital region and not in the districts. Atleast this way, SA leadership and Their hegemonious Govt will be affected. Gandhian methods won’t work with AP Govt anymore.

Britishers were more civil and sensitive in 1940s, in India, compared to this AP Govt.  New methods must be invented/adopted to get the Govt to heed people’s democratic demands.

Can the forum members post ideas from  Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Soth America where peoples fight against the Govt suppression succeeded and use/adopt their methods?  How about South Africa? Blacks fought more powerful Govt of South Africa. How did Ayatolla of Iran over throw the monarchy of the Shah? Are there no injustices in other parts of the World? How are the people affected handling the situation?  Need a broader search over recent movements all over the World. And more refined ideas have to be presented.

To-day’s looter’s Govt has become immune to Bandhs, Dharnas, Hunger strikes, Bus burnings, Rail Rokos, Black Badges, Etc. A parent will feel if their loved one is punishing self. But current Govt isn’t paternalistic.

All fight must be waged in the state Capital.  Folks in the country cannot be asked to sacrifice any more. May be the Capital needs to be stopped to function. (Just Memphis city burned after Martin Luther King’s death). Infestation of Rats won’t cause them to leave the house with Music. Some times, burning the house may be the only answer.

Remember, I am not proposing these actions.  Just attempting to elicit more effective methods to achieve the Goal and stop the in justices.

The ‘Adhishtanam’ presided over by Smt.Sonia Gandhi, should know that, it is her elders who are responsible for the present miserable state of affairs in Telangana. Pandit Nehru against the advices of visionaries like Fazal Ali and Dr.Ambedkar and also against his own judgment has allowed the merger of Telangana. Smt.Indira Gandhi on one of her worst political decisions has yielded to the cunning machinations of andhras and denied Telangana a separate state, despite the martyrdom of 370 heroic young men of Telangana.  If separate state was formed at that time Telangana would have overtaken Andhra in all sectors in development like Haryana did against Punjab. Her decision has given andhras a chance to ravage Telangana in all spheres of life and push it backwards 50 years. Yet Telalangana people so innocently and generously rallied around her, when she was in political wilderness and contributed for her political survival. Smt.Sonia Gandhi on her own made so many promises to Telangana people and so far never kept those promises. She looks on with a callous silence as Telangana youth die and people suffer in the draconian rule of andhras. She is swayed by their political numbers and money bags for the party.

While Sonia Gandhi keeps such an uncaring silence about Telangana, our Telangana Ministers  look at her like sheep to a shepherd. It is not known whether it is their stupidity or spinelessness. Chief Minister and his Andhra colleagues do not extend any courtesy of considering their views either in case of Telangana or in the day to day administration. People of both the regions ignore them. Their position in the cabinet has become redundant and untenable. Their incompetence is clearly demonstrated in the matter of cases against the students and APPSC exam among other things. Telangana people are providing with several political opportunities for them to grab and to come in to the limelight. Yet, with their lack of political acumen and stupidity they are getting isolated from Telangana political main stream. They are keeping too much faith in SKC Report and Sonia Gandhi’s response to it. Both are highly nebulous and may prove to be wishful thinking on their part. The struggle for Telangana is gaining its zenith; from here it can only go forward. Andhras and ‘Adhistanam’ can only prolong it but cannot stop it.

This movement can provide Telangana Ministers and congress MLAs with a new prospect and a new lease of political life. They can also make it stronger. If they don’t realize this and do not rise to the occasion, they will be thrown out on the wayside. They will be committing their political ’Hara-kiri’.

This leaves one question the very purpose of the committee. Options have always been there. We have always expected the committee to come up with a clear recommendation. If they really understood the gravity of the issue, they should come up with the following options:

1) Formation of Telangana with Hyderabad as its capital.
2) Formation of Telangana with Hyderabad as its capital.
3) Formation of Telangana with Hyderabad as its capital.

Nothing else.

No wonder why the poll on this website clearly voices the opinion that a majority of the people do not believe in the Srikrishna Committee. Out of a total of 1066 unique votes, 78% of the people do not believe in the Srikrishna Committee!

The Chairman of APPSC, Mr. Venkatarami Reddy, a Seemandhra person, insisted on holding these exams on time without paying heed to the protests from whole of Telangana.  He was backed by Chief Minister Rosaiah, another Seemandhra loyalist.  He was supported by most of Seemandhra politicians.  Even the people of Seemandhra came out to stage dharnas to impress upon this Chairman to go ahead and hold these exams as scheduled overriding the wishes of Telangana people.   These exams were postponed twice already before but this time around the authorities insisted on holding them on the date much to the dismay of Telangana people, politicians, students and the leaders.

It became a challenge.  Telanganas wanted to hold off the exams while Seemandhras wanted to coerce Telangana into submission with armed forces to proceed with their agenda no matter what 42% of the population thinks, because they ride the majority of 58%.   One can easily imagine how the sixty years marriage has been.  One party dictated terms with impunity while the other party succumbed each and every time.

On Sunday, 5 September 2010, the showdown began between Telanganas and the Seemandhra led government of Andhra Pradesh.  The ruling party MPs of Telangana marched towards the examination centers and were instantly arrested.  The students went into battle with the police in Osmania University campus.  Some of these agitators and protestors barged into few examination halls and disrupted the exams. The agitations spread across whole of Telangana.  The police forces stood ground and arrested hundreds.  Only 35% of Telangana aspirants showed up, while in Hyderabad it was 45% turnout.  In Seemandhra, the examinations went peacefully with 65% turnout clearly indicating that these exams failed in Telangana.

It is clear to most Telanganas that this government does not represent them. This incident is another affirmation of arrogance of Seemandhras who wanted to prove a point that they can snub Telangana agitation with brute force of state police.   For many years now, Telanganas have been losing trust in the farcical marriage called Andhra Pradesh.  It would like to get a divorce but the state doesn’t allow it.  Because the Government of India, proving to the whole world that it is quite idiotic when it comes to dealing with certain aspects of constitutional democracy, dictates that these two parties should vote to decide the separation.  Unfortunately for Telangana, the Andhra Pradesh government is controlled by Seemandhra who have 6 votes while Telangana has only 4 votes.  Every time the government of Andhra Pradesh votes Telangana loses out.

Telangana cites ‘irreconcilable differences’ and ‘lack of trust’ to break this marriage.  But like the Indian man who doesn’t let his wife leave, forcing her, beating her, and threatening to kill her and her family if necessary, Seemandhra holds onto Telangana at gunpoint pressing them to the ground.

The divorce has happened in the minds of the people.  We are waiting for the legal separation.

1)Seemandhra media repeatedly telecasted the protest of Osmania students against Seemandhra test paper evaluation and held discussions on that topic but didn’t even mention about the deplorable statements made by Seemandhra teachers in City College. Telanganiites blood boil when they hear those statements where in the modesty of our sisters was questioned. I request Raj News expose this attitude of Seemandhra media and enlighten the world that Telangana never had Peddapuram , Amalapuram culture. They never had primitive cave men attitude where in the name of faction, people hurl bombs and slit throats for maintaining their hegemonistic designs. Telanganiites on the other hand are certainly an enlightened lot where in they always stood for human values who fought against feudal system and had many revolutionaries. Now it is high time to expose Seemandhra Culture who corrupted each and every field and professions.

2) It is disappointing that our Telangana TDP leaders found the APPSC episode unimportant. No one is opening their mouth in this regards. It again proves that Telangana TDP leaders are mere puppets in the hands of a Seemandhra High Command protecting his interests and his region. Telanganiites bend their heads in shame when they see these spineless Telangana TDP leaders arguing with other leaders and blindly supporting their party. I dont understand why they are turning blind eye on CBN’s attitude towards Telangana and Telanganiites.

Few examples:-
1) CBN insulted Telanganiites as drunkards and said we dont know time sense and are always indulged in gaana bajaana. He makes the most absurd statement that Seemandhriites taught us time sense. These Telangana TDP leaders fail to recognize that he directly insulted not only Telangana but our ancestry including Telangana TDP leaders ancestry. Unfortunately, these shameless TDP leaders are still sticking with this valasavaadhi high command. These Telangana TDP leaders are putting their self respect at stake for trivial unimportant positions in TDP.

2) CBN never criticised Rajoli, Polavaram, Pothireddypadu. It shows that he never supports any Telangana cause that is against Seemandhra interest. He supported Babli because it’s not affecting Seemandhra interests and more over he made sure that future Telangana ties with Maharashtra are severed and throwing interstate Telangana projects with Mahrahashtra into jeopardy.

3) He never snubbed his Seemandhra MLAs (like Harikrishna, Keshavulu, Chadrashekhar Reddy) who always spit venom on Telangana’s righteous movement and moreover turning Telangana TDP leaders into mere dummies.

4) CBN came out immediately with a statement deploring the act of Osmania students who simply protested against Seemandhra teachers evaluating Telangana papers but didnot come out against the seemandhra teachers in City College, Hyderabad who insulted the modesty of our Telangana sisters. It is a deploreable statement by those teachers. Leaders like Nannapaneni Rajakumari who in media discussions state that our culture is to respect teachers as GODs, then she has to answer why the city college teachers who insulted their own students, and the other seemandhra teachers who gave 0 marks for meritorious Telangana students didnt behave like Gods. These Seemandhra leaders have only one agenda chant out the veda vaakyaalu if the situation demands and trounce the same values when they are against their interests.

I dont understand why these Telangana TDP leaders are still under the impression that their Seemandhra High Command allows the formation of Telangana State. Did they forget CBN banning the use of “Telangana” term in Assembly. With the recent APPSC episode AP State Govt has comeout with a clear intention of killing Telangana aspirations with the help of their Seemandhra officers (DGP, Principal Secretary, APPSC Chairman, etc.) We have only 2 options now accept this injustice quietly and lead a second class citizen status or oppose the injustice and fight for our rights .
