We are not against Telangana. In fact, we all belong to this region : CM
Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday reiterated that no one from his government or the Congress was opposed to the formation of a separate state of Telangana. He was reacting to Telangana Rashtra Samiti activists raising ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans during a public meeting in Chinnagottimukkala village in Medak district from where he launched state-wide revenue conventions. Maintaining that the Centre is already looking into the sensitive issue, the CM said the state would implement whatever the former’s decision might be.
“We are not against Telangana. In fact, we all belong to this region,” he said in a bid to pacify the slogan shouting activists. The CM also made an important announcement that the state government would soon enter into an agreement with Maharashtra on the Pranahita-Chevella irrigation project. “The objective of my government is to provide irrigation facilities to the Telangana region in all possible ways,” he said. Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy said the state government has been pressurising the Centre to declare Pranahita-Chevella as a national project and provide necessary financial assistance. About 16 lakh acres will be irrigated once the project is completed, he said, adding that the project would cost Rs 38,000 crore.

Rocky, I for one don’t believe in this propaganda. We have seen enough of such cheap tactics all these years.
Andhra (key four districts) does not have enough natural resources for sustained development. Their main strengths are agriculture that requires huge water inflows and education that requires a developed city like Hyderabad to flourish. They are dependant on Telangana for both these.
PCPIR projects are unviable economically apart from being catastrophe on the environmental angle. Mining & thermal projects in Uttarandhra (Kalinga) face stiff local resistance.
This leaves the real estate lobby that is trying to corner lands in GVMC & Vizag-Araku belt. These speculative gimmicks will fail in Vizag as they did in Hyderabad.

Who is this state govt. official? When did they become so wise to forecast the development in the coming decade? It is alright if he wishes phenomenal industrial growth in Coastal Andhra, but why is he indulging in the forecast of decline of Hyderabad? Can’t you understand the spite and the subter fuse in it.It is plain bullshit. How long these paranoid ‘chauvinists’ propagate this goebbelese.Instead, it would be better if they think about managing the administration of Andhra state in the first decade after demerger, with its insufficient revenues.

After reading the article people will still determine strongly to vote for a party which is having leadership from TELANGANA and for a party which only works for telangana. This cheap and foolish tricks will make telangana people to understand much better that as long as seemandhra leadership is there ,they can never get their share.
They will stringly decide to drive out TDP and Congress.
And demand of telangana is not the demand of TRS its the demand of the people of telangana.
They are not demanding for the sake of TRS .TRS is fighting on behalf of them.
Hyderabad means not telangana ,hyderabad is part of telangana.
Lets wait and see how many projects will take their shape.
Time will reveal all the tricks and treacherous acts of seemandhra leaders.
